The following instructions will guide you through deinstalling applications from your cellular handset. In some cases, additional memory is required which will require some unnecessary applications to be removed. Comet Tracker Web recommends deinstalling the following applications only; Trac2ME, Comet Tracker Web , Calculator and Reversi.

1. From the Java Apps screen press down to scroll to the application you want to remove.
2. Press Menu.
3. Press down on the scroll pad to Deinstall.
4. Press the right option key for Select.
5. A confirmation screen displays.  Select Yes.
6. When your phone has finished deinstalling the application, select Done.

Download Apps and Install Comet Tracker Web on the handset

From time to time, Comet Tracker Web offers upgrades of its service which will require you to update the software on your cellular handsets. The following instructions will guide you through installing the most current version of the Comet Tracker Web software that has been uploaded to your Mobile Application Manager account with Sprint.

1. From the Nextel home page select Menu.
2. Scroll to Java Apps and Select.
3. Run Download Apps.
4. Once the download is complete select Next.
5. Scroll to New Purchases and press Select.
6. Highlight IT2ME and press Select.
7. Once downloaded select Get It at the bottom of the display screen.
8. Press Exit.
9. Go to the Java Apps Menu
10. Scroll and highlight IT2ME.
11. Select Install
12. Wait for the initialization process to complete and select Done.
13. Return to Java Apps and highlight IT2ME.
14. Select Run.
15. Enter unit phone number and select OK.
16. The unit will display the IT2ME logo which will remain stationary on the display screen. 
17. If the Payroll option is being used, the unit will display the IT2ME logo briefly and then go directly to the Payroll Time Entry display. It will begin with the Start Day entry.
18. Select Select.
19. The unit will display the current date and time. Select OK.
20. The unit will ask for a Job Code. Enter up to a 10-character reference and then select OK.
21. If breaks and lunches are enabled on the unit, the unit will allow you to log date and time information for both breaks and lunches the same way you entered Start Day.
22. To End Day, scroll to End Day and select OK. The unit will display the current date and time. Select OK.
23. Press the RED end key for cellular twice.  IT2ME is now running in the background.
